COVID 19 safeguarding
What we’re doing to help keep you safe
We have made LOTS of changes while you have been away that we are sure you will like.
Our aim is to keep you safe and well & with that in mind we have put together a guide on how we will be operating in the near future to help keep you that way.
It will really help if you take 5 minutes of your time to read this through before you visit us.
BOOKINGS
In order to make the best use of our limited availability, due to social distancing, we are initially only taking bookings for Hour slots (see prices).
It will help us massively if you book in advance, you can do this by ringing 01636 677772 during opening hours.
We do not operate online booking and will not be taking bookings via email.
Bookings will be taken at ten minute intervals in order to avoid unnecessary queuing.
ON ARRIVAL
Please pay attention to any signs you see around the entrance.
There will be a sanitizing station at the entrance, if you don’t have your own sanitizer please use this when entering the building.
On entering the building you mustmake your way to the reception desk, please adhere to social distancing signs that are in place.
A member of staff will take your payment (by contactless card or device wherever possible) and tell you which lane to go to. We will be required to take contact details from at least one person from each group. If this isn’t completed when you made the booking it will be done on arrival. You will be given a disposable menu with our food and drink options on. There will be a one way system in place, please stick to this whenever possible.
We will not be issuing bowling shoes, we ask that you come in (or bring) soft soled flat shoes.
You may be refused bowling if we deem your footwear is not appropriate.
YOUR LANE
At present we are only able to use every other lane so you will not be expected to share bowling balls with anyone (except within your group).
A good selection of balls will be on the lane already, it is important for your safety that you don’t get balls from another lane. If you feel you need something that isn’t there please see a member of staff and we will try and help.
There will be a gap left between you and the previous customers, in order for our staff to clean all hard surfaces, including the bowling balls, ready for you to Bowl.
You will not be sent to a lane that hasn’t be cleaned.
FOOD AND DRINK
Shortly after you have settled in and started bowling a member of staff will come to see if you would like any food or drink.
They will take you order, when they return with your order it will be placed down along with a card machine ready for you to pay.
Should you require more food or drink please catch the eye of a member of staff who will happily take your order.
This is a new way of working for us so you may have to remain patient with us, particularly in the early stages.
We may have teething problems.
THE TOILETS
The toilets will be strictly one in one out (unless it is people from the same group)
If a toilet is in use a red light will be lit in the ceiling above the toilet door
Please do not enter if the red light is on unless you see the previous person come out of the toilet.
We recommend using the hand sanitizer station on both the way in & the way out.
THE AMUSEMENT MACHINES
It would be helpful & easier for social distancing if you could use the amusement machines after your bowling session has finished.
Our staff will be cleaning the machines on a regular basis but there will be cleaning materials made available if you wish to clean them before you use them, along with plenty of sanitizing stations that we recommend you use before & after playing.
PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO ALL SIGNS OR DIRECTIONS FROM OUR STAFF.
THIS IS FOR THE COMFORT & SAFETY OF YOURSELF & OTHERS
WE WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR CUSTOM, LOYALTY & PATIENCE IN THESE UNPRECEDENTED TIMES.
